Day two.  Pennsylvania state line.
Followed I-81 to Harrisburg, passed by Enola Yard.  Decided to head south instead of west.
Changed my mind.  Once in Maryland, I headed west toward Cumberland.
Off in the distance, you can see the rock cut at Sideling Hill.  It's a big deal, and there's a visitor center and everything.
Here's a quick picture of the cut at Sideling Hill.  It doesn't quite capture how impressive it is, but it was pretty chilly and extremely windy, so it was snap and run.  As you pass through the cut, you can see dozens of geological strata exposed.
From Cumberland, we head north on some back roads following the Sand Patch railroad grade.  I came around one corner, and.. snow was on the ground.  It got worse from here, and there was some nasty wind and blowing snow as I made my way back toward I-70.  Not much accumulation, but plenty visibility problems.
